Step-by-Step: Getting into a Tub with a Walker

Choose a preferred language

Stand directly in front of your bathing chair facing away from it. Step one foot backward until your leg touches the edge of the chair. Gently begin to sit back. Place your hand from the same side as this foot onto your chair for balance. Place your other hand on the opposite side of your chair. Fully sit back into your chair. Move your walker off to the side. Swing both legs into the tub, so you are facing the shower head.
